Roll Tide

As I was flying from Oklahoma City to Charlotte this week I kept hearing the words “roll tide”. Because God is really cool and is always setting me up, I ended up setting next to a 72 yr old woman that I did not know and by the end of the short flight she was no longer a stranger but I quickly learned she is a fellow prophetic, kingdom voice! She was flying into Charlotte where she would further travel into Pittsburg for a prophetic women’s conference where she was a guest speaker.

I was so blessed by this new connection in my life. I was praying silently for her asking God, “what do you have for her as she moves forward and goes to speak at this prophetic women’s conference?” I kept hearing the same thing… Roll Tide!

I looked over at her and said, “Roll Tide… I hear theses words for you.” She was so excited. I personally thought it was so strange, but it was so strong in my spirit, so I grabbed her hands and prayed over her and then she prayed over me! It was such an amazing God encounter.

Later in the day, I arrived in Myrtle Beach for a conference. The conference center and our room is on the ocean front and Thursday morning I woke up to the sounds of the wind howling as it was blowing strongly outside and the waves just rolling and crashing up on the shoreline as hurricane Michael made its way across the east coast. Again, all day, I heard… “Roll Tide” and as I have thought and prayed through this I believe it is a prophetic word for the church body today.

Holy Spirit brought back to my memory from when I used to live in Ludowici, GA and the name of our football team was the “blue tide” and when they were winning many people would yell… ROLLLL TIDE!!

This was a victory shout!

I believe God is speaking to me as I watch the waves crash and the strong winds blow… ROLL TIDE! There’s a tidal wave of the spirit coming, and God is telling us to get our focus set on Him. Those who choose to ride the wave in will be washed into the place of their next level. So many times, we run from the waves or stay away from them all together because they look dangerous. There’s a new wind of the spirit that is stirring up these waves, it’s not dangerous although it may look like it, and those who recognize it’s their Father will suddenly find themselves rising into the newness of Him, a new season, a new level, NEW!  But its going to take discernment, focus, looking fear in the face and declaring victory, it’s going to take courage.  I think of a surfer preparing to ride a wave, he’s not scared of the wave, he gets in sync with it and navigates his board to follow it to the end!!

I keep hearing God tell me this morning that He has already been stirring in the hearts of many in order to get them ready. Those who are ready will be in sync with God’s heartbeat and ride with ease but those who are not will find themselves fighting the wave that’s sent to carry them. Don’t fight it, you will go down!

God is bringing forth a remnant of kingdom minded people that are willing and ready to ride out the waves that will guide them into their next season.  Don’t let the wind of transition scare you, don’t let it keep you stuck in the “comfort zone”… It’s time to move! He moves us forward only to advance the kingdom of God, to do HIS purpose on this earth! To bring the kingdom of heaven to earth!!

GET READY, NO FEAR, GIRD UP and MOVE FORWARD!

“Deep calls unto deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and billows have gone over me!” Psalm 42:7

In this verse the word waves is mishbar meaning a breaker and the word billows is the root word galal meaning to roll! WHAT??!!? To roll?

Roll Tide!

In His waves there is a breaker anointing that will roll over us and bring that deepness we long for with our Father, it will break us out of the old and like a surfer rides a wave to the shoreline, you will ride the tidal wave into your next season!

As I was studying about the tide I realized that the actual time and size of the tide is affected by wind and atmospheric pressure! This goes back to what I felt Holy Spirit impressing on me before.. there’s a new wind coming. There have been many talking about how they have been feeling so much pressure, almost like a shifting pressure… so, take that atmospheric pressure and allow God to blow on it with the wind of His Spirit and watch yourself rise with the tide!

Get in sync with Him and He will give you all you need to navigate the wave and rise!
