2024 - Fierce Unity and the Fear of God.

On December 18th I was seeking God for insight into 2024 for the Body of Christ and for our nation. There were several things that Holy Spirit spoke to me about the Body that I want to share. I believe there’s warning in this along with instruction on how, as the Body, we will be the kingdom influence that will be needed in this world in this upcoming season. This word was confirmed the next day when I got a call to come to Portugal to speak to a group of Pastors and leaders about UNITY in their churches. This is a word for the Body of Christ, no matter where you are planted.

The first thing He began speaking to me about was the enemy’s strategy – Fear and division, which I will declare from the roof tops so that the Body of Christ is aware and able to stay alert to it. It is VITAL that we stay alert and sober minded as we are told in 1 Peter 5 – “Be of sober spirit, be ON ALERT. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. BUT RESIST HIM, firm in your faith…” When we are alert and sober in spirit, we will continuously be aware of the enemy’s strategy and when he comes in with a roar of fear or a roar of divisive tools, we will immediately recognize it and resist the temptation to lock arms with him. We will stand firm in our faith, being the one to roar back in his face courage and kingdom unity – which is the key to victory!

STAY ALERT AND SOBER MINDED BEING OF ONE MIND WITH CHRIST!

Second, Holy Spirit spoke a warning to the prophetic voices.. We best walk in the gut wrenching fear of God and let that be the driving force behind what we are to and are NOT to speak. Why? Because the words that come from our mouths will either feed into the enemy’s tools or be a weapon against them. If He doesn’t tell you to publicly declare it, then stay silent! Mary, the mother of Jesus, comes to mind here. The Word says that the things spoken to her about Jesus, she hid them in her heart and pondered on them. She held them inside until the right time to act on them or speak them forth. This will be a year to carry what you sense, see, and hear to His altar in intercession FIRST and to His Word, not throwing up on social media just because you believe you ‘heard a word’. Since November I have seen so many doom and gloom “prophecies” over our nation and the church being thrown out and it is deeply grieving Holy Spirit. I can literally feel it. Yes, there are times He will show His prophetic voices things that are very weighty and concerning, but prophets remember this, your first position is intercession and many times we are shown those things in order to pray into them, not to give them public voice which in turn gives the enemy a foothold to work. WE MUST NOT FORGET THE POWER OF OUR WORDS and what we come into agreement with, we open the door to.

Prophets carry a weighty responsibility and for some odd reason, there are too many to number out there claiming to be what they are not… false prophets are what the Word calls them… and because of that and immature prophetic voices, fear and division are given open doors to run rampant. A word spoken – be it from God or from your flesh – is still a seed planted that will eventually sprout up and grow, be it the kingdom fruit of life or the fruit of death and destruction. As Holy Spirit was speaking this to me, I was reminded of the prophet Elisha, who got angry at some kids for making fun of his bald head and he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then 2 female bears came out of the woods and tore up these 42 kids.

So… be cautious what you speak forth “in the name of the Lord”. God is NOT a provoker of fear. Again, yes, there are times He will ask His TRUE prophetic voices to speak forth a warning, but on the other side of that warning, there’s going to be an overcoming strategy for those with ears to hear to follow. If you ever notice the O.T. prophets spoke a word that carried a ton of weight but on the other side of this was the strategy, the condition to seeing the word either carried out or canceled.

He literally said, “Prophets, watch your mouths and declarations! You’ve been warned!”

The third thing He spoke to me was strategy to carry out His plans in 2024!

1. Ephesians 6:11 – Put on the full armor of God and DO NOT TAKE IT OFF!

We must stay armored up, we do this by staying IN all the armor represents..

• Helmet of Salvation: Keeping our minds full of His Truth in order to resist the fiery darts of the enemy. Salvation – Soteria – deliverance (stay on the altar, in a posture of allowing Holy Spirit to search you day and night, don’t come into agreement with the enemy’s ways – this welcomes oppression from the enemy), keep your eyes on Jesus, the HOPE of your salvation – your place of daily growth, freedom, deliverance, safety… all HE offers us. It’s a daily refreshing of our mind in HIS WORD!

• Breastplate of Righteousness: because of salvation you are clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ! The breastplate protects the most vital organs – the heart, the lungs, etc. we are able to withstand the darts of the enemy by daily reminding ourselves and him that we ARE righteous. By allowing Jesus to set on the throne of our hearts (our mind, will, emotions) – walking as ONE with Him. Out of our belly flows His rivers – let His righteousness flow from you!

• Loins girded with Truth: the loins represent the reproductive organs. All that we reproduce, must be done so in the TRUTH of His Word at all times. This keeps the enemy from having a foothold of deception. He is always hiding at the door waiting for a small crack to come oozing into – being rooted in anything but Truth, gives him that space.

• Shield of Faith: Jesus Christ is the author and the finisher of our faith! EYES ON JESUS! Faith is speaking forth and actively moving forward on the foundation of “He said it, I believe it… I will act upon it even if I don’t see it, feel it or sense it.” Faith is the place we fight from. A shield protects the warrior, they use it to hide behind and ricochet the enemy’s weapons! Get yourself daily positioned behind your shield of faith!

• Walk in the Gospel of Peace: our feet represent our foundation, the foundational things of life. The Word says that God gives a peace the world can’t give. When we are living with our armor on, His peace will be what guides us. The foundation of all we do is to stand on His shalom, peace – peace. This doesn’t mean we don’t stir up the waters – to walk in His peace is to also stand for His Truth, this means we are to be peace makers, not peacekeepers. Peacemakers go to war at times.

• Sword of the Spirit: this, my friend, is the Spoken Word of God – “It is written…” Jesus gave us an example of using the Sword when He was in the garden with the enemy throwing all kinds of things at Him. KNOW THE WORD so that you can ACTIVATE YOUR SWORD! This is your ONLY offensive weapon because His Truth always wins and overpowers the tactics of the enemy.

2.  Ephesians 6:18 – DO NOT STOP PRAYING!

Pray at all times in the Spirit…. Be on alert with ALL perseverance and petition for ALL the Body! We must persevere, even when exhausted!

3.  Hebrews 5:14 - Discern the enemy’s moves!

Stay in the Word (solid food) – this is what the MATURE in Christ do! Solid food trains our senses to discern good and evil! Knowledge precedes revelation – revelation is required for discernment. Knowing the Truth will reveal the lie.

4.  1 Peter 4:8-10 – Close Connection to Kingdom Community.

• Acts 2:42 – be devoted to the Body!

• Hebrews 10:23-25 – gathering with kingdom community helps us not waver in hope, stirs up His love and good works and brings encouragement in the day’s life seems hopeless.

DO NOT FEED THE BEAST OF DIVISION!

5.  Psalm 31:19-20 - Stay in the secret place.

His Body must position themselves IN Him, going deeper in relationship with our Father! This is taking refuge in Him. Seeking Him above all else. Trusting and leaning into Him alone.

DAILY spending INTENTIONAL time in prayer and the Word. Those who choose NOT to do this will find themselves constantly feeling ‘defeated’, lost, confused, fearful, anxious and/or depressed.  

Those who stay in the secret place with God will walk in the wisdom and foresight needed to lead the rest.

Those who stay in the secret place know God - those who know God know Love because He is love - those who know Love have no fear because His perfect love casts out all fear! - Leave the fear of what man can do to you and enter into the fear of God almighty.

6.  Proverbs 4:23 - GUARD YOUR HEART with all diligence!

Our eyes, ears, and thoughts (mind) are the gates to our heart. Make sure to take EVERYTHING you hear, see, and think to the mirror of the Word of God, and let the boundaries of His Truth be the guard to all that attempts to enter your gates!

Life flows from the heart – guarding it through His Word keeps your life flow from getting clogged up with the cares of this world!

 As we enter 2024 let me remind you of this..

You are a royal priesthood! 24 is a double of 12 – 12 biblically represents God’s power and authority that is established by walking in HIS PERFECT GOVERNMENTAL FOUNDATION! The Priesthood of God is here to establish His perfect, kingdom government on this earth. This is done by walking as kingdom priests into EVERY sphere of culture, carrying His power and authority to bring life transformation (revival of kingdom LIFE). This will only be fulfilled throughout the whole earth by walking in unity as believers.

If we will have ears to hear what His Spirit is saying in this moment, following His strategy spoken forth, we will see a double portion of His kingdom government in our lives, and it will pour over into the lives of others!

2024 Prophetic declaration:

I declare into this new year fierce and fearless unity amongst the body of Christ, a unity as this generation has never seen. I decree into the atmosphere that all tactics of division and fear be exposed and eradicated before they take root.

I declare a fierce courage to rise up in the Bride, a fierce love to overtake her, a fierce desire for obedience to Jesus to driver her, and a face set as a flint – a face that stares straight at the enemy and says, “you will NOT have my family, you will NOT have my church, you will NOT have me! Your tactic of division and fear have NO power here because I am of a royal priesthood whose King is Jesus and I walk in HIS POWER, HIS AUTHORITY AND I HAVE DOMINION OVER YOU!” I declare a fresh fire fall and the fear of God be our ONLY fuel into this new season! ‘

Be encouraged – God is with you! His promises are yes and amen! He will NEVER leave you, nor forsake you! He will ALWAYS be God no matter what ‘things’ around us look like!
